When selfless, like-minded people gather together, beautiful things happen. From facilitating health screenings and feeding the hungry to cleaning up local parks and helping rebuild communities after disaster, Lions are ready and willing to jump in wherever there’s a need. We believe in changing the world by serving the needs of our local communities. More than 1.4 million Lions from over 46,000 clubs in over 200 countries around the world, are responding to local and global challenges with kindness and care.

Our mission is to empower Lions clubs, volunteers and partners to improve health and wellbeing, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian service and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and international understanding. And we fulfill it every day, everywhere we serve.

With every project completed and each person served, we make history. We’ve been around for over 100 years, yet our story is still in the making. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s being written by helping hands, by shovels hitting the dirt, by donations being made and by lives and communities being improved in over 200 countries and geographic areas around the world.
